Goblins

Although the exact word "goblin" did not appear until the Middle Ages, accounts of small, mischievous humanoid beings can be traced much further back. Ancient civilisations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia all described strange little creatures that inhabited forests, caves, mountains and underground places.

The Kobold
The kobold is a creature from Germanic folklore, particularly associated with German mythology and medieval legends. Traditionally, kobolds were believed to be small supernatural beings that could either help or hinder humans depending upon how they were treated. Their nature varied greatly from story to story, making them both fascinating and unpredictable figures within European folklore.
