About Paranormal Rescue
Overview
As the name suggests, Paranormal Rescue is an organisation designed to be a unique international paranormal emergency rescue service dealing with problematic, disturbing, and malevolent anomalous activity. This includes Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) cases and their related encounter aftermath problems. We also strive to help solve mysteries related to folklore and legends that have intrigued humanity for centuries but have become troubling or malevolent.

Paranormal Rescue clients are diverse and include private individuals, celebrities, professional organisations, homeowners, landowners, hotel owners and managers, as well as commercial building owners and managers. The common denominator is that all clients possess a serious and baffling allegedly paranormal problem that requires urgent help.

NOTE: Since celebrities and other prominent public figures occasionally request our assistance, they are reassured by our strict client confidentiality code.
Unless a client specifically waives this, their identity is never revealed.

Paranormal Rescue is also different in that we do not typically conduct traditional paranormal investigations, exploring spooky old buildings, asking aloud in the dark, "Is anybody there?" or attempting to capture evidence of the paranormal. Instead, paranormal activity finds us when potential clients who are already plagued by it request our help. The Paranormal activity we typically encounter is usually serious, always problematic, and sometimes extremely dangerous.

A summary of our unique identity and modus operandi resonates in an analogy of a real-life fusion akin to Ghostbusters intertwined with the ethos of Thunderbirds' International Rescue and The Equalizer, all enriched with a dash of Top Gear/Grand Tour Special flair.

When necessary, we consult with an extended team of academic and other specialists, including clergy members, ministers, priests, shamans, individuals from diverse faiths and beliefs, and those with extraordinary abilities that can be utilised professionally. We also collaborate with strategic partner organisations worldwide to provide our clients with the very best service and an expanded geographical reach.

Since its formation, Paranormal Rescue has garnered significant media attention in Britain and the USA, including BBC News, ITV's This Morning Show, Newsweek (USA), The Daily Mail, The Sun, and The Daily Mirror newspapers, Reader's Digest, Chat Magazine, Forbes Magazine, the Beast Seekers TV show's Snapchat (episode 18), and the Hubbard Network (USA), etc.

How and When Was Paranormal Rescue Formed?
Paranormal Rescue was founded in 2015 by Brian Sterling-Vete, PhD, a veteran researcher and field investigator of both paranormal and Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). He has an exercise science-based background, an open and analytical mind, a fascination with mysteries, and a passion for solving 'paranormal' problems.
Throughout his life, he has frequently experienced a wide range of mysterious anomalous phenomena. In the late ‘70s, he was an inadvertent eyewitness, along with several police officers, to a significant UAP encounter. Since then, he has been involved in four other UAP encounters, all in the company of other credible witnesses, including police officers, members of the military, and even two US State Representatives.

From 1985 to 86, Brian and a colleague lived in Reykjavik, Iceland, and experienced what appeared to be poltergeist activity in their apartment almost daily. Later, in 1986, they both witnessed what became known as the Grey Lady apparition in a large central London house. In 2015, Brian, along with another person, witnessed and unknowingly interacted verbally with what later could only be described as a full-body apparition on the second floor and in the stairwell of The Palmer House Hotel, Sauk Centre, Minnesota, USA.
In 2014, while working and researching for a historical TV documentary at Lilford Hall in England, which was the home of the man who helped and encouraged the Pilgrim Fathers to sail on The Mayflower, Brian led a team of 13 people, all of whom experienced baffling daily anomalous activity. The anomalous events experienced there were so baffling and of such magnitude that they resulted in him living in the 530-year-old, 110-room hall and passionately investigating it for almost three years as he attempted to find answers.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, after experiencing a plethora of anomalous events during his lifetime, Brian decided to embrace his passion and dedicate his life to researching paranormal and UAP phenomena, attempting to solve baffling mysteries, and seeking elusive answers to age-old questions.

Due to his wealth of experience and no-nonsense yet frequently amusing approach, Brian became increasingly called upon to help people suffering adverse effects due to paranormal-related issues; he has even assisted several amateur paranormal investigation teams that suddenly found themselves out of their depth. These frequent requests for help eventually led to the official formation of Paranormal Rescue.

From this humble beginning, and perhaps due to our unique structure and approach, Paranormal Rescue soon began to attract like-minded individuals, each with an exceptional professional skill set, to form a robust and competent core team.

A curious aspect of our UK-based core team is that it unintentionally comprises a 50/50 distribution between British and American members.

What Does a Typical Deployment Comprise?
We are a UK-headquartered organisation with a global reach. This is because, to a certain degree, travel is sometimes possible and because we have a growing network of international team members, trusted partner organisations, and affiliates.

However, due to certain limiting factors, such as caseload and the number of team members, even in the UK, we are not always able to deploy the entire core team to every case location. Furthermore, a full team deployment is not always required. When required, we occasionally work with trusted partner teams an affiliates in the area where the client is based.

Also, we cannot accept every case presented to us; this means that we only choose the cases that interest us the most. Typically, when a client case is accepted for investigation, it is thoroughly researched, analysed, and discussed in detail with all UK-based core team members, together with any international partners and affiliates who might become involved. Subsequently, an appropriate location research investigation is agreed upon and planned in detail.

Practical Deployment and Function
On international case missions, the team typically comprises its two founders, Brian Sterling-Vete and Helen Renée. They are referred to as the 'Away Team' and are supported by any required core team members back in the UK. However, under certain circumstances, if the case requires it and logistics allow it, additional people may join the Away Team.

The Away Team is further supported by the appropriate trusted partner affiliate team on or near the case location in the country concerned. Any specialists required for the case mission are identified and requested in advance.

During the investigations on the troubled locations, two factors combine. Factor one is that the required specialist team members in the UK convene for the entirety of the Away Team investigation in Jester's Tower, built with Conwy Castle and walls in 1283. In and of itself, this quirky, 742-year-old circular building has a long and rich history of reported paranormal phenomena. Factor two is that the Away Team is about to commence the investigation at the foreign location.

From this juncture onwards, the Away Team communicates in real time with the base. When combined with any specialists on location, the base team and Away Team work together to help solve the reported problems.

Two specialist core team members support this real-time communication. One is Greg Hardman, a communications technology specialist from the British Army's Royal Corps of Signals. The other is a US-based Airman 'C' who cannot be named because he is a former US Special Forces member of JSOC, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and a deployment communications specialist. For those unfamiliar with JSOC, here is an overview. The Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) is a joint component command of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). It is charged with studying special operations requirements and techniques to ensure interoperability and equipment standardisation, to plan and conduct special operations exercises and training, to develop joint special operations tactics, and to execute special operations missions worldwide.

This is a brief overview of how the Paranormal Rescue core and Away Teams operate in practical terms for both UK-based and international client case missions.

Clients and What We Expect
When potential clients approach Paranormal Rescue for assistance, we require them to present their case in an objective and rational manner. This includes providing a detailed account of events and phenomena in chronological order, along with any supporting evidence that has been captured, if available, such as video, audio, or photographic evidence.

If potential clients are unwilling to invest the time and effort required to present their case rationally and respectfully when requesting our assistance, we typically decline their requests. This thorough approach ensures that we can provide the most accurate assessment of their situation and, if necessary, provide appropriate assistance. We ask all potential clients to read and accept our basic terms and conditions.
Project Half-Life
Paranormal Rescue team members also perform valuable research. For example, Brian Sterling-Vete's Project Half-Life is a groundbreaking initiative with the potential to revolutionise our understanding of certain paranormal phenomena. Brian Sterling-Vete's Project Half-Life both agrees and disagrees with Professor Brian Cox's argument that ghosts cannot exist because they would have to conform to the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
